ordering film

Hello everyone,

If I want to order film, wheres the best place to go? I'm based in Ireland. kodak probably don't have a motion picture film place here (since you can't get film developed here) So my guess is that for all practical purposes you should answer this question as if I was living in the U.K. Also, how much does colour super16 negative film cost? What are my chances of getting bulk discounts, etcetera?

First off go to www.kodak.com and click on the Cinematography tab. Then you can find the world wide agents. Buy direct it will be the cheapest. How much film costs is to hard to say. It depends on if you are a student or not, Or how much film you are buying and how you are paying for it. There are quite a few factors. But you should never pay more than the Kodak price!!

It seems to me that with expensive things like film, camera's, mixing desks etc they kind of avoid telling you the price. They put it off as long as possible. It pisses me off
